This job will be located at our Webster Groves facility.
•Technical development of new product applications to support our meat business •Conduct testings and analysis of current and new products to determine functional and organoleptic properties and performance in finished applications •New formulation development •Work jointly with Sales and Regional Marketing on customer applications development •Regular customer visits and training •Detailed project planning and control •Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan. •Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan. •Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary. •Resolving cross-functional issues at project level. •Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary. •Monitoring project progress and performance. •Providing status reports to the project sponsor. •Collaboration with global meat team

•B.S or M.S in Food Technology / Food Science/Meat Science •Strong documentation, organization and time management skills •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•2+ to 5 years of industry experience with a meat or poultry applications development. Pilot or meat processing experience beneficial. •Thorough understanding and strong technical knowledge of meat testing and processes •Solid understanding of chemistry of food products
