Yosemite Meat Co. is looking for a Production Manager for our Pork Plant in Modesto, CA. to manager aprox. 60 employees. Handle the process from Live to coolers. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Train employees on specific jobs,Prepare production reports, Work with Sales team on quality of product per customers needs, Maintain high standards for humane handling of animals to harvest, strong communication with maintenance to ensure adequate maintenance is performed on equipment to minimize downtime.Mange and increase effectiveness and efficiency of every employee in the department. Hold employees accountable and take necessary disciplinary action. Conduct safety and tailgate meetings with department staff.
Strong communication, Spanish speaking a plus. Must have experience work directly with USDA, strong people skills, excellent communication skills, train staff on jobs, conduct safety meetings on personal safety and food safety. Customer oriented, be problem solver, strong leader who leads by example. Strong coaching, and development.
