TITLE: Manager of Facilities and Environmental Compliance

Responsible for leading the Facilities Maintenance and Environmental Compliance functions at True West Beef LLC.  This will include design, engineering, planning, construction and maintenance of the beef production plant’s major infrastructures and facilities.  Additionally, it will include leadership of the plant’s environmental and regulatory activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Plays an integral role in the construction and start-up of the True West Beef facility.
• Is responsible in building and developing his/her team in all functional disciplines to include but not restricted to: facility maintenance and implementation of preventative maintenance programs, refrigeration and PSM development and implementation, electrical and PLC controls, all environmental compliance and environmental infrastructure maintenance.
• Provides support for facility related project design, engineering, construction oversight, implementation, and maintenance development for major projects.
• Assists in analyzing new business opportunities from a facilities and environmental perspective and provides summary or detail reports as required.
• Works to supports the full development and integration of a Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (MSOP’s) into each business unit for the purpose of managing all maintenance activities and metrics, as well as environmental activities and reporting.
• Provides support and oversight to ensure compliance of environmental regulations.
• Remains well-informed of current and impending future environmental regulations impacting the company.
• Provides project management and/or oversight for major capital facilities projects.
• Leads and assists with the development of maintenance metrics in-line with goals and value objectives.
• Reviews current and future Federal and State environmental regulations applicable to the business unit and communicates impacts or needs to business unit.
• Evaluates and provides input for capital improvement recommendations.
• Prepares progress reports from various projects.
• Responsible for people development and succession planning within the maintenance and environmental functions.
